“I was first introduced to Moringa around 2014 when I was working at a missionary near Tzaneen to plant moringa for sustainability. After research, the land was not suitable to plant Moringa. But my Moringa journey did not stop there as I discovered the nutritional benefit of this miracle plant.

I was suffering from arthritis and high blood conditions and decided to take Moringa. The impact that it had on my body was miraculous. Due to the fact that Moringa is packed with antioxidants it helped me to regain my energy and boosted my immune system.

My sleeping pattern also started to change for the better. After about two months, I decided to start promoting this miracle plant products and bought six bottles of Moringa capsules on the internet and started a business. The company, “Moringa Letsitele” was born.

Land was needed to plant moringa and after negotiations with a tribal authority we managed to get 42 ha in March 2017 near Tzaneen. With great excitement my husband and I were looking forward to this new journey and prepared the soil for planting.

Soon after that my husband had a stroke and I had to pack up and relocate to Pretoria. He passed away after five months and I could not continue with the project in Tzaneen.

Through social media I came in contact with other moringa growers and started to promote their products. This is when I realised how important education and awarenes of the correct labelling and packaging is.

This was the beginning of my new journey. I may not be able to PLANT, but I can share my knowledge!
